Cordillera Real

Wow, what a trip. Once again, I found myself in the Andes preparing for a monster Karakoram expedition. I was training great leading up to the trip right until I burst my appendix. I healed just enough, not 100%, to stick to my plan. I based out of La Paz and climbed with Alex von Ungern for a couple weeks, completing four major climbs. Bolivia is an incredible country, and the climbing there is of such high value and proximity to the city that it really stands out as a truly unique place in my mind. Can’t wait to go back!
